Product profile: Portable solar recharge hubs

Providing device recharging for events or outdoor areas with no access to electricity can be difficult, but the Furnicharge Freedom Hub makes it simple. It is ideal for one-off events, or permanent installations in schools and universities, business parks or community open spaces, or anywhere that needs a self-contained charging and power hub.

The Freedom Hub is a table and seats combined with a 1.3 kW solar canopy and enough battery storage for up to six days of autonomy (battery capacity is scalable). It includes four Qi wireless chargers in the tabletop and six 230 V weatherproof power outlets capable of providing up to 1200 W for additional chargers or other devices, as well as two USB-C outlets. It is also fully portable.

Options include automatic sunset-to-sunrise public lighting, Bluetooth speakers, smart city connectivity integrations, as well as environmental monitoring that includes temperature, humidity, air pressure, fine particulate (PM2.5) and airborne VOCs.

The Freedom Hub is designed to operate in any environment and can be managed remotely. It is solidly made from steel and recycled plastic composite cladding from the REDcycle program. It is designed, engineered and built in Australia.
